Scholarship Program
We hope to inspire students in Greenville’s schools through the help of local artists.
What
Because we want to inspire the next generation of artists and crafters, we’ve formed a small scholarship program to help fund an art program in a Greenville County school. We understand that budget constraints often leave art teachers without necessary resources, so we’ve made a portion of our donated funds available to area schools. Our goal is to partner with school art programs and connect students with local artists.
One scholarship of $500 will be awarded for 2011.The school that best demonstrates both a need for assistance and a plan to further its art program will receive the funds at the start of its second semester. A scholarship would include partnering with Indie Craft Parade and might include demonstrations, assemblies, workshops or field trips. We will announce the chosen school in December of 2011.
