Indie Craft Parade

Dear Indie Craft Parade friends,

We’re writing today with a big announcement about the future of our Pop Up Shops and exciting news for Indie Craft Parade. Your support has meant everything to us, and we want to share this moment with you.

A Season of Change & Gratitude

For nearly 10 years, our seasonal pop up shops have been a labor of love—an opportunity to connect our community with the beautiful work of independent makers and artisan brands. It’s been our privilege to make shopping handmade a joyful tradition. These temporary retail shops have been successful thanks to your support!

You may not know this, but Indie Craft Parade is run by a small team of three: Erin, Lib, and Jen. We founded the nonprofit in 2010, and have run it part-time, making space in the margins of life. We have loved every moment of curating these pop ups. But as seasons change, so do we. Years later, our lives have grown fuller with careers and young children, and we find ourselves needing to refocus our energy and spend the holidays with our families. With this in mind, we’ve made the bittersweet decision to step away from hosting seasonal pop up shops after this year.

All In for Indie Craft Parade

While this chapter closes, our story with you continues in exciting ways. Indie Craft Parade isn’t going anywhere—in fact, it’s growing! We’re thrilled to announce that in 2025, our beloved festival will return as a three-day celebration. We can’t wait to make the festival bigger and better than ever! Save the date for September 12-14, 2025 for the 16th annual Indie Craft Parade at Judson Mill.

And who knows? We may still sprinkle some holiday magic into the future with smaller events—we’ll keep you posted!

Two More Weekends to Shop Handmade with Us

This year’s Pop Up Shop will be our last, and we’d love to see you there. Our doors are open every weekend until Christmas, and the shop is filled with the artisan-made goods you’ve come to know and love. Let’s make this final season one to remember as we celebrate the makers and the vibrant community that have made it so special.

There’s something wonderful on the horizon for our retail space—it’s still under wraps, but we can’t wait to share it with you soon. It has truly been an honor to be a part of the Sans Souci neighborhood, and we have been very invested in ensuring that this location will continue to serve the community. We think you’re going to love what’s coming next!

Thank you for being part of this journey, for shopping small, and for supporting makers. We’re endlessly grateful for you, and we can’t wait to keep celebrating handmade together!

With full hearts,

Erin, Lib, and Jen
